Fundraiser Was a Great Success!

Casa Coyo would like to thank everyone who attended, supported, volunteered and donated to it's first Fundraiser which was held on Saturday October 21st, 2006 at the Airliner in Lincoln Heights. Casa Coyo would also like send a special thank you to all the performers and artists who donated their time to make the Fundraiser happen. The Fundraiser would not have been possible without the help of Karla Legaspy, Maritza Alvarez, Vrisa Dominguez, Francisco Dueñas and Leo.

Featured Performance Artist:
	Adelina Anthony Adelina performed her new performance piece, "Requiem for Queer Amor." Through the main character, "Sancha," an old school vaquera, "Requiem for Queer Amor" used storytelling, poetry, and movement to take the audience on a journey through all kinds of frontiers/fronteras--from the physical to the metaphysical.
